What is Purple Dead Nettle?
Purple Dead Nettle, also known as “Lamium purpureum” can be described as a weedy plant and an annual herbaceous plant that is native to Asia and Europe. It is often found next to Henbit Dead-nettle (Lamium amplexicaule), which can cause many to mistake it for Purple Dead Nettle since they both have the same leaves and similar bright purple flowers. This weed contains astringent, purgative, diuretic, and diaphoretic properties, which medically are beneficial.
Common Uses of Purple Dead Nettle/ Health Benefits
Purple dead Nettle is anti-inflammatory, antifungal and antibacterial.
Therefore it can be used to:

Where to locate & what do they look like?
When trying to locate these beauties you can often describe and notice them in your backyard, field's, and many other places with their Purplish flowers have a top hooded petal with 2 lower lip petals, and their leaves that are crowded heart-shaped leaves tend to overlap; upper leaves are often purplish with greenish undersides and hairy. Short petioles. Wavy to serrated margins. They are around yearly from Fall, Spring, Summer, and Winter depending on your location in the U.S.A.
